This writer humbly continues snippet portrayals from scenes of a remarkable life so far! Hey Matt Baron, how about an assembled chronology sometime? These accounts are great! And Bridgett too!

Very very cool story. One of your very best. For "mere" extras you guys were great. Really. And Twin Anchors is great too.

Great story and a lovely shot from the movie. Our Oak Park house was the set for Laura Dern's. home in Novocaine. It was such a low budget movie that they were allegedly only renting our bedroom, which meant we got to stay in the house. My husband knew he had a banjo like one of Martin's and deliberately set it up as Martin-bait at the bottom of the stairs to the bedroom. Sure enough, Martin came down between shots and he and Bill ended up playing tunes between shots all afternoon, with Laura Dern sitting on the floor along with many of the crew. Martin was very gracious, not just to us but to all the gathered neighbors.

So cool! A funny story from that movie, behind the scenes, is that the production office was scrambling trying to find Tab because that was noted in Steve's rider. I forget if they actually got the Tab or not, but ultimately it came out that it was a carry-over line from way back and Steve didn't actually need/want the Tab.

Whoops. It was Helena Bonham Carter on the floor. Dern had just broken up with someone and stayed pretty scarce.
